Received a great question last night (paraphrased):
“Can it work for people to enroll clients via DM from content if they don’t have the kind of authority that you (Eleanore) do? Or do they have to do a call to enroll clients?
“Like, let’s say they don’t yet have 3-5 years under their belt, of being known in the marketplace for a certain thing, like you are for organic high ticket sales.”
What a lot of people don’t realize is that I was using the “content to DM to sale” method before I had the so-called “authority” that I do now.
It’s been about 3 years now that I’ve been somewhat known (yet still nowhere near famous or anything like that) for organic high ticket sales.
But at the very very beginning of that 3-year period, before I had a big audience, before my Facebook group even existed, before I was known for “organic high ticket sales” and before I even had those words in my mind to describe what I did…
…I was enrolling clients via DM from my content.
When you write content the way I do and teach, the content positions you as an authority and you can be seen as one practically overnight!
Caveat: That is assuming that you actually do have years of experience helping people to get results, and have a real expertise at what you do, and actually know what you’re talking about.
My writing method isn’t about “tricking” people into believing you’re an expert when you’re not.
It’s about having people “see,” recognize and respect the expertise that you do definitely have.
(so that they’ll easily say yes to working with you, without a phone call)
If you’re a real expert who knows how to solve specific problems, you know the pain of having people look right past you and go to inferior solutions instead.
With my method the people who are meant to have your help will often see it quite quickly – sometimes, after reading just a few of your posts.
And they’ll know they don’t need a call or to have a million questions/objections answered before they’ll say yes.
(When I say you don’t need a call, what I really mean is that you don’t need a LONG, pained, torturous call. Some of my clients choose to do 15-20 minute calls for sales, and they follow the same super-simple framework that the rest of us use over Messenger. The point is that the person you’re communicating with – whether over the phone or over text – is already 99% sure that what you offer is for them and that they want it. You’re both just confirming that it’s a good fit and maybe answering one or two lingering questions that they have. There’s no long, drawn-out agitation of pain points, long descriptions of your offer, or objection handling.)
So, yes: these consistent, easy enrollments without a call (or with a SHORT one, if you choose to do one) are possible even if you’re not well-known in your niche.
And, actually, even “being well-known” only goes so far. A person can be well-known for something and people still aren’t necessarily sure if it’s for them or not, or exactly what the details of the method are, or if they’ll get results from having the well-known person’s help and coaching.
(If you’ve ever signed up for a well-known person’s program and not gotten results, you know what I’m talking about here!)
And now we’re getting to what my content writing method actually involves.
You actually tell people what your methods are, and how they work, and who they work well for and who they don’t work well for.
The majority of most of your posts will talk about methods – or, said another way – HOW to get results.
I want you to have examples of what I mean, so I’m going to refer you to a few detailed post reviews that I did recently.
In each of these examples, the writer was not sharing much about their methods, and I gave feedback on how they could adjust the post so that more of their methods were included.
As you read these reviews, I’ll invite you to consider the “before” version of the post as well as my proposed “after” version.
If you were in the market for this person’s services, which version would have you more convinced to sign up without a phone call (or, alternatively, without a ton of questions or objections)?
Feel free to comment on this post (or on any of the review posts) and let me know your thoughts.

Of course, you can always feel free to DM me on Facebook about my 30-day private intensive if you want my eyes on your content to give you the kind of detailed feedback that you’re seeing in those posts – on how you can shift the content to share more of what your work is about so that the right clients will see you as the person to help them and be ready to enroll without any friction or long painful sales conversations. 😉
