Let’s talk about autonomy.
When you know how to write posts that simultaneously give mind-blowing value AND call in clients, you can grow your business to incredible heights without depending on ANYONE else.
Through a simple process of requesting friends to join you on your profile, you can start and rapidly grow an audience that eventually, after about a year or less, starts growing on autopilot (i.e., people start to follow/request YOU in droves because your incredible content is being shared everywhere).
Same thing can happen with a group, as it has for me. A group starts when you use your posts (not the invite feature – please, not the invite feature) to bring your profile followers/friends to your group, and as members find more and more value there, they start to add their friends and Facebook starts promoting it for you. And it all snowballs.
Which means you can always receive clients and money without ever really leaving your profile or your group.
One of my followers brought up this “autonomy” benefit of my system in a private chat the other day, and I’m grateful to her for recognizing it.
Lots of people are teaching you that you have to chase influencers and get them to “gift” you the chance to speak to their audience in order to be seen.
Or, similarly, that you have to guest-blog or podcast-guest until you’re blue in the face to get people to know about you.
Or that you have to somehow hijack-but-not-really-hijack others’ FB groups in order to be seen.
Or that you have to pay Facebook to reach the people who need you.
None of that is true.
All of those methods work (in differing degrees, and often not until you’ve invested a LOT of time and/or money) – but you don’t NEED any of them. You are always in control of your destiny and you can build your own audience rapidly from the ground up, for free.
For years I did all the other methods to chase authority and got very few clients from them.
Turned to my own backyard (so to speak) and blew up.
If you’re an expert with proven methods for getting clients results, have done well in your business so far and now want to scale to multiple-six and seven figures, why not start TODAY with drawing people to you rather than chasing all the shiny objects?
You’ll have to be bold and extremely clear in your posts, though. Share your amazing methods in detail, and tell people what to do (and what not to do) to get results. And share your offers, too. Take up space and command attention.
