If you’ve been following me for a while, you likely know what my strategy is for growing your audience by 500-800 people per month (so that you always have new people finding out about you and your work).
But for those who are new to my world, here’s the strategy:
Send 50 Facebook friend requests per day.
Over time, as this process gets dialed in, around 35-40 of every 50 requests should accept – meaning that if you do 50 requests every weekday, you should get about 500-800 total acceptances every month.
And after the first couple of months, your 50 requests should take you no more than 30-45 minutes per day to complete.
(In the first month or two, as you’re beginning to do the friend-requesting, it may take you longer, like 1-2 hours per day)
Now, I know that people always have a lot of questions when I share this – like:
“How do I know who to send friend requests to? People’s profiles don’t necessarily tell me if they could be a client.”
“Where/how do I find people to send friend requests to?”
“How do I set my profile up in such a way that people will be likely to want to connect with me and accept my request?”
“How do I make sure this doesn’t take too long?”
“Should I track the friend-requesting process to make sure it’s going as it should? If yes, what’s the best way to track?”
“What if I want to grow my Facebook group? How do I do that?”
“What do I do when my friends list gets full and I don’t have room for new ones?”
Good news: I’ve written quite a few articles/posts that answer all of these questions, and more.
